What is BRT? Body Restoration Technique (BRT) is a non-invasive method of locating and removing energy blockages. BRT uses the body’s reflex points, which are similar to acupuncture points, to help understand why the body is not responding appropriately. BRT does not treat disease or symptoms but helps unblock energy flows to help the body function more appropriately to increase health and vitality.

Acupuncture points have been used for thousands of years to increase energy flows to different organs of the body. He found that if there were energy blockages preventing repair actions within the body then perhaps points could be triggered to increase energy flow and normalize repair functions. Dr. Berg found many acupressure points that could be triggered to stimulate nerve pathways within the body.

The allergy elimination technique permanently eliminates any form of allergy or sensitivity. Originally derived from research using a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach, the treatment has advanced so that acupuncture needles are optional. Treatments involve the use of acupressure at selected points on the body and are quick and painless even for infants and toddlers.

The Alternative Allergy elimination technique treats any negative reaction to any substance or stimuli by reprogramming the immune system to correct the error. Traditional treatment includes antihistamines, corticosteroids or immunotherapy (which uses regular injections of the allergens to slowly desensitize the body, with gradual results over a 6- 12 month period. The most conventional treatment is strict avoidance which can be difficult for most people and very difficult with children. Allergy elimination therapy can resolve the symptoms of an allergy within 24 hours. There is no need for avoidance and the results are generally permanent.

Chinese herbs and herbology:
Except for the use of a few well-known herbs such as Ginseng, Dong Quai, and Astragalus, Chinese herbology has been largely eclipsed by acupuncture.

Unlike common nutritional factors such as vitamins and minerals, herbal remedies help revitalize the organ system because they contain substances such as flavonoids, polysaccharides, glycosides, terpenes, alkaloids and resins which can either gently stimulate or calm.

Herbal therapy has been proven to help reverse health problems that result from emotional stress, chemical exposure, lack of balanced exercise and poor dietary habits. Research by scientists in Japan, China and the United States indicates that herbs improve immune system functioning and have antiviral, antifungal, and anti-tumor effects.

At Princeton Acupuncture you will benefit from herbal treatments,as well as acupuncture. Unlike western herbs, Chinese herbs are generally used in synergistic combinations. These formulas, which may include as many as 20 herbs, may be taken in various forms. The most convenient form involves placing concentrated herbal powders into capsules. You may choose to add your specially blended herbs to hot water and drink them as a tea, if you’d prefer.
